Geotextile is a material which consists of natural and/or synthetic fibers, which are chemically or mechanically combined. Because of the remarkable characteristics of these non-wovens, such as durability, toughness, and water permeability, these materials are very qualified for divers usage within constructionprojects.

The intention of geotextile is the separation of chemicals. This prevents the combination of the adjacent layers, while water can flow freely. The geotextile is usable for soil stabilization, separation of soil layers, drainage, and filtration. One thing that’s important, is the extensibility of the geotextile, which is capable of absorbing the working of the soil, without tearing. Geotextile is obtainable in various weight and sizes which makes it suitable for many situations.
